Those who were at the last meeting know that yours truly has temporarily taken on the title of NMA Newsletter Editor. However, we are still looking for someone to become the permanent editor.
Although our auction last month was smaller than expected, it was still a fun night. Don Kaletsky kept things rolling as auctioneer.
It has come to my attention from a few of our members, that we haven’t been doing as much teaching as we have in the past. So, for this meeting, please bring something you would like to teach. Teaching and sharing magic within our club is a big part of the foundation of our great independent organization.
Next month, July 14, it looks like we’ll have a dealer demo by Magic Legacy owner, Michael Bochar. www.magiclegacy.net is a mail order, internet magic shop based in Westchester County NY. The great thing about a dealer demo is that we get to see the products performed live and can ask questions. You’ll know if it suits your style before you purchase.
And last but not least, our member Matias, has started a magic blog. He discusses Magic Theory, Kids Magic, Books he’s reading and more. The link is http://magicianmatias.com/blog .
